On Sunday, May 28th, Mtr. Jennie Olbrych presented a check in the amount of $709. to Sue Cavanaugh to be forwarded to the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi, to go toward tornado relief efforts for the Chapel of the Cross in Rolling Fork, MS, which was devastated by an F4 tornado in March of this year.
Mrs. Cavanaugh spearheaded the fundraiser, through the auspices of St Monnica’s Chapter of The Order of the Daughters of the King, at the suggestion of the Province IV of the Daughters of the King. These funds are for direct relief and use of the Chapel of the Cross in Rolling Fork.
The residents of MS and Rolling Fork, in particular, remain in the prayers of our own Daughters of the King, and in the hearts of our parishioners.
