University of Kentucky Men’s Chorus

The acclaimed University of Kentucky Men’s Chorus is set to enchant audiences with a free concert at the Church of the Holy Communion on Saturday, March 9th.  This evening will feature a selection of Tenor/Bass choral masterpieces by notable composers including Barber, Nance, Childs, and Luboff, showcasing the chorus’s exceptional talent and range.

Having performed at prestigious events across the nation, such as the American Choral Directors Association and the National Collegiate Choral Organization, the UK Men’s Chorus has established itself as a pillar of choral excellence.

The concert will also spotlight the acoUstiKats, a select a cappella group from the Men’s Chorus renowned for their contemporary flair and national acclaim as a finalist on NBC’s “The Sing-Off”.

Dr. Jefferson Johnson, Director of the UK Men’s Chorus, invites the community to experience a night of stirring music that bridges classic and contemporary choral traditions.  “We’re excited to present a program that reflects the depth and dynamism of men’s choral music.” said Johnson.
