Resources for Lent
The primary Lenten offering in our diocese this Lent is an invitation to participate in Sacred Ground, a film and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith and developed by The Episcopal Church to promote racial understanding, justice and reconciliation.
The primary Lenten offering in our diocese this Lent is an invitation to participate in Sacred Ground, a film and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith and developed by The Episcopal Church to promote racial understanding, justice and reconciliation.
The program will be offered by our Diocesan Racial Justice & Reconciliation Commission via Zoom starting March 7 (There are two options, Mondays at 6 pm or Tuesdays at 1 pm — classes are offered every other week). Anyone can attend – clergy or lay, Episcopalian or not – anyone interested in honest discussions about race. Bishop Ruth Woodliff-Stanley recently shared a message inviting your participation in this worthwhile program as a Lenten discipline. Watch it by clicking the image to the right.
