On Sunday, October 13th, immediately after 10:00 AM Mass there will be a House Meeting of the Charleston Area Justice Ministry in the Church of the Holy Communion library. If you are interested in attending, please contact Mary Neale Berkaw, you may email sorewounded@yahoo.com
Holy Communion was a founding member of CAJM.
Because of CAJM:
There will be 2 mobile healthcare units funded by Roper St. Francis in 2025 serving the greater Charleston Area and staffed by Fetter Health Care. These units will provide a wide range of medical services to those who normally cannot access health care.
The Charleston County S
chool District schools now have Restorative Practices implemented in many of the schools. A program that our research showed worked in lowering school suspensions. This has happened because we have continued and will continue to press CCSD to fully implement it in all schools.
And we have tackled many more issues to alleviate unjust conditions in our community.
Please let Mary Neale know if you will be at the second House Meeting!
